Overview
In the early 1990s, the phenomenon of bureaucratic corruption and power-seeking became increasingly serious. The interests of ordinary people were constantly being eroded. They could only use their own wisdom and methods to fight against the unreasonable phenomenon. The Year of the Sheep is approaching, and the last auspicious double day of the lunar calendar in the Year of the Horse is approaching, and surprise weddings are heating up in various places. Qian Dakuan (played by Xie Yuan), a small self-employed businessman, and his wife Baoling (played by Ma Ling) sit and watch the social chaos and enjoy themselves. Director Yan (played by Xu Zhongquan), who lives in the same hospital, bullies others and wants to seize the house of Nian Wangqiu (played by Li Zhiyu), a model teacher who has been single for many years, to hold a wedding for his child. Da Kuan and his wife decided to fight against the injustice and decided to help Teacher Nian hold a wedding and get their house back. They tried every means to coax TV host Li Ruchun (played by Chen Xiaoyi) and asked her to pretend to be a bride. On the wedding day, the little people’s struggle begins...
