Overview
Driver Vasya, lying in the hospital with severe fractures, does not believe in the possibility of recovery. The dilapidated house opposite makes him especially sad. But then one day workers come, dismantle the ruins and begin to build a new house. Talking with the builders and watching their work, Vasya begins to come to life. The jokes of the young bricklayer Tasya especially help with this. Time passes. Vasya is recovering, the house is built, the workers have left, but the friendship with Tasya continues.
