Overview
The main character of the film is Viktor Bershadsky, a Russian director who emigrated to the United States. His fate and career did not work out either in Russia or abroad. He used to be famous, but now no one remembers about him, he hasn’t directed films for 10 years and most likely will never receive an order to direct again. But fate smiles on him too, though only for one day. In New York, patrons of the arts at the Hilton Hotel organized a charity evening dedicated to emigrants from Russia. Viktor Bershadsky becomes the star of this evening, in a chic tuxedo he is the center of attention. But all this is only for one evening, in the morning this fairy tale will end.
