Overview
Dr. Alberto Gonzaga, engineer, is assigned to work on the construction of the Transamazônica. He is a widower and has a daughter, Elvira. The 19-year-old girl is weird, has no friends, likes reading and playing violent sports. As her father doesn't want to take her, and is afraid of leaving her living alone in Rio de Janeiro, a very violent city, he takes her to a boarding house in Jacarepaguá. Elvira doesn't like the idea, but ends up agreeing. The director of the place, Madame Grignac, is a very cultured woman, uses French expressions in conversation, and is interested in Dr. Alberto. At the boarding house, girls from great families roam half-naked and in bikinis around the house, sauna and swimming pool. Elvira will live in a room with three other maidens, Lili, Olga and Carmen.
