Overview
Visibly out of place, Nina, a beautiful young woman, is the attraction of a low-class cabaret. Indifferent to the looks, she remembers her past in a corner, seeing herself on the farm where she was raised by D. Inácia, with her son Roberto as her companion. Young and naive, both consider themselves engaged, committing to marry when they grow up, blessed by Father Antonio. While Roberto studies in the United States, time passes, and Nina transforms into a beautiful girl, who arouses the greed of foreman Juventino, D. Inácia's right-hand man. When Roberto returns to the farm, the love between the two young people explodes, but D. Inácia opposes this marriage with all her strength, even under pressure from Father Antonio.
