Overview
Petros, an orphaned talented designer, loves a rich orphaned girl, Niki. The social difference is obvious but it doesn't stop Niki from talking to her mother, Alexandra, and getting her consent for the marriage. But Alexandra changes her mind when she meets Petros' father, Anestis, who dies of syncope as soon as he sees her. And this is because he realizes that Niki and Petros are the siblings they had found in the Occupation, next to their dead parents, and whom they separated and undertook to raise, each one separately, as their real children. Alexandra tries in vain to marry Niki to Telis, the foolish son of a hero of the Balkan wars, General Condoleon. Petros' brother and Niki's natural brother, George, returns to Greece and clarifies that the two young people are not related. Therefore, there is no obstacle to their marriage.
