Overview
"An African couple (Dr. Silvanius and Makeba) come to visit Brazil on the occasion of the International Song Festival, where the singer Jorge Ben is the favorite. But a gang led by Bárbara comes up with a plan to win the first prize: Pedro Paulo, a lookalike of the singer, who will be kidnapped, will replace him. Bebete, the lookalike's girlfriend, comes from the countryside to look for him and falls in love with the real artist. The lookalike goes to Europe, to participate in car races but the plan is discovered and the gang is arrested. Makeba abandons Silvanius and decides to stay in Brazil, changing her name to Jorge Ben continues her successful career and everything returns to normal."
