Mike O'Brian, an American reporter for the SBC television channel, arrives in Barcelona as the city completes its preparations for the celebration of the Olympic Games. Very soon, however, his contact with the reality of Catalonia leads him to delve deeper into the political aspects. There are two women: Bárbara Martí, from CTVC-4, who is willing to collaborate with him, and Muriel Basora, who encourages him to look for clues to a plot that intends to use the Games for the benefit of an armed group, the independenceists of the Patriotic Liberation Front, FAP.
