Of course, the matter should remain top secret for as long as possible. With everything sorted, the Swiss ambassador takes the train home. However, he has to go through customs at Feldkirch. The ambitious customs inspector Laurenz Hasenhüttl carries out his duties there. He would only like to become a senior inspector and so he examines the train from Vienna to Zurich particularly thoroughly. In his overzealousness, he mistakes the Swiss bank envoy and the finance minister's lover, who happens to be traveling with him, for a wanted fraud couple. The customs treaty he found - completely incomprehensible to him - reinforced his view even more.
