Overview
Safiya is young, intelligent, ambitious - and in mortal danger! She and her little sister were illegally trafficked to the Netherlands. But the price for starting a supposedly better life is high: Safiya has to have a kidney removed. She manages to escape at the last minute, but has to leave her sister behind. At the same time, Commissioner Bram de Groot and special investigator Alex Pollack get involved in a shootout during an observation, which is behind the criminal organization of the gang boss Irfan Dewi, who is on trial at the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Dewi made his money from human smuggling - and from illegal organ trafficking. Safiya, who is now in the custody of the police, could be the crucial witness against Dewi and his organization - but Dewi's henchmen have her sister in their power!
