Overview
In the winter of 1944, the Japanese army was attacking from the north and south. Pingshi Town in northern Guangdong had become a dangerous nest. It was imperative for the National Sun Yat-sen University in Pingshi to move. Where to go became a problem that all teachers and students had to face. The head of the Tiantian Department, Huang Jiyu, is in his sixties, and there is also hesitation under the calm appearance. At the same time, he is more concerned about the safety of students. Encountering Qiu Yang, a talented candidate by chance, Huang Jiyu cherishes and protects him and enlightens him in many ways. Amid the national crisis, Qiu Yang was deceived into enlisting in the army, and Huang Jiyu tried his best to rescue him. Qiu Yangming's ambition was to study for the rise of China, but the school was forced to move into exile, and Pingshi collapsed. Seven months later, Japan surrendered. Huang Jiyu held a wedding for his daughter, and the family and the country celebrated together. On their way back to school together, teachers and students took a boat trip to Qingyuan. Unfortunately, Huang Jiyu fell into the water and died.
