Overview
An adaptation of the novel by Witold Gombrowicz, made in 1986 by Maciej Wojtyszko, with an excellent role by Jan Peszek. The play was included in the Golden Hundred of Television Theater. Józio, the narrator and at the same time the hero of this philosophical story, a thirty-year-old considered a schoolboy, dressed in a school uniform, fights a duel in several rounds with the world and people - against infantilization, i.e. drunkenness; against the roles imposed on him and others, i.e. the mouth. He tries to come to terms with the didactic idiocy of the school, which forces students to make discoveries such as "Slovak was a great poet."
