Overview
A corpse was discovered in one of St. Petersburg's yards. An old photograph taken in the 1980s and a letter addressed to a certain Sergei were found at the crime scene. The investigation was entrusted to Criminal Investigation Major Ruslan Kutyev. Kutyev establishes the identity of the person from the photograph. It turns out to be journalist Sergei Turin. The investigator begins to suspect Turin of involvement in the murder. However, the appearance of a new corpse, with a new letter for Sergei, leads Kutyev to the conclusion that Sergei is not only not involved in the crimes, but is himself in danger...
