A penetrating probe into the education system of the time and a deep analysis of a man who is prone to tyranny, wants to manipulate people at all costs and has no sense of the freedom of others. In the small world in which he lives, he does not directly resort to physical violence, but he has enough abilities to ruin the lives of many. Through the psychological portrait of the high school bully, Professor Raat, who, despite his rigor and outwardly displayed middle-class morality, is subject to moral corruption, the author depicts the bankruptcy of the hypocritical bourgeoisie and its lying morality.
