Overview
The life and career of Furio Scarpelli, master screenwriter who passed away in 2010, who together with Age wrote some of the masterpieces of Italian cinema from the 1950s onwards, from Totò's first films to I soliti ignoti, The Great War and L'armata Brancaleone by Monicelli, from Germi's Sedotta e abandonata to C'erariamo tanto amati and Scola's family. A journey that leads to places of memory in the origins of Tuscany, among friends, colleagues and students (Scola himself, Stefania Sandrelli, Paolo Virzì, Francesca Archibugi, Caterina and Masolino d'Amico), which edits excerpts from interviews and film sequences, which shows photographs and Super 8 from the family archive and which recalls the past with a fake period film shot for the occasion.
