Overview
Frank dreams of fame as a successful writer, while his partner Akim dreams of fostering their child. Then fate comes to his aid: Frank meets the charismatic Kathrin and makes her the heroine of his new novel. He follows her heels, gets a short-term job in the same company as her and ultimately ends up in Kathrin's bed. He finds out about Kathrin's pregnancy and she finds out about his troubled relationship with Akim. When Akim throws Frank out of the apartment, he finds shelter with Kathrin. From now on, Frank takes care of the shared household while Kathrin earns the money. Between the stove and the washing machine, Frank writes his novel obsessively. What he cannot suspect: Kathrin also has a secret plan in which he plays a leading role.
