
Overview
Set in Shanghai, a city known as the "Magic Capital" due to the extraterritoriality of the Concession at the end of World War II, the story centers on Ryoichi Hattori (Kohei Matsushita), an up-and-coming composer who composed such works as "Suzhou Nocturne" and "Farewell Blues," as well as Ryoichi Hattori (Kohei Matsushita), the composer of "Yaraika". A dramatic ensemble drama that depicts the conflicts and dreams of a variety of people, including the singer-songwriter (Reikinkou = Jin Shirasu) and the unparalleled singer Rikoran (Haruka Kinoshita), who form bonds through music and try to overcome racial and ideological barriers to hold a concert. Masahiko Kawahara, a director who has created a variety of works with unique productions that are both gorgeous and poisonous, and who is highly trusted by theater fans, will take on the Shanghai historical drama following his 2017 musical play ``Magical City Night.'' Following on from ``Mato Yokyoku'', Akimitsu Honma, one of the most prominent J-POP producers and composers, is in charge of the music, creating a Japanese original musical drama rich in entertainment value, including Hattori's exquisite melody and original songs. The cast includes Kohei Matsushita, Jin Shirasu, Haruka Kinoshita, Atsushi Yamanishi, Keiya Yamauchi, Kazuho Sou, Ryuji Kamiyama, Nene Yumesaki, and Ayyo Senna, all of whom are active in a variety of fields, including video, musicals, and straight play, and are both gorgeous and talented.
