Overview
The film tells the story of the exile of a sultan's aide. Aide-de-camp Hilmi Bey was exiled to Beirut when the Ottoman Empire collapsed. Hilmi Bey, who does not know anyone in the place he goes, settles in a hotel. When he runs out of money, he is kicked out of the hotel. He buys a soda with the last money in his pocket and realizes that the person selling the soda is his old friend Abdi. With his help, he settles in an abandoned madrasah and sells soda every day. He works in construction. One day, he goes to see Prince Keramettin Bey as the guest of a friend. At Prince's request, he begins to stay with her. However, after a while, he is defrauded by the Prince and returns to his old life. And he finds his old friends in the madrasah. At that time, he sees on a poster that his daughter is a kanto performer, but he doesn't believe it, but when he goes to the place where his daughter is performing kanto, he realizes that it is real and dies there.
