Overview
The film tells the story of Yu Yihong, a scholar played by Zhu Yilong, who went to Beijing to take the exam and came to Huangliang Town with Yu Sheng, a book boy. After learning that there was a White Fox Fairy played by Chen Yinuo in the town, Yu Yihong did not believe in the ghosts and gods, so he visited the Earth Temple at night and found clues about the White Fox Fairy. After searching for traces along the way, I found out that there once was a wealthy woman named Ye Qingqiu in the town, who was proficient in music, chess, calligraphy and painting. It’s just that three years ago, the whole family suddenly got a strange disease and all died...
