Overview
To the southwest of Extremadura, two brothers, Juan and Bruno, sons of yunteros, resist the passage of time under the protection of an atavistic olive grove that is more than 400 years old. When summer arrives, the sun devastates all remains of life and the landscape remains bowed in the calm of the hours of sunshine. The life of rural people is relegated to the shadow of the trees in a long contemplation of motionless nature. Bruno disappears from the landscape and Juan is left alone after 80 years. In his brother's absence, Juan begins to perceive something strange about the tops of the olive trees. The silence of the olive trees is interrupted. An invisible being that sometimes lives in the treetops and sleeps in the roots. An ancient bird hidden in the Extremaduran landscape. A mystical, priceless traveler.
