Overview
Yomatov is a televised fundraising event for children and youth initiated by the "Rainbow" franchise and Zionism 2000 that has been broadcast in recent years on Channel 2. The event is moderated by Israeli television stars, including Rafi Rashef, Eli Yitzfan, Assi Cohen, Gadi Soknik and more. Yomatov's first event took place on December 19, 2002 and the song for the event was a revival of the song "Today Today" performed by Sarit Hadad. At the "Yumtov" event that took place on April 27, 2006, approximately 19,000,000 NIS were collected. In 2008 "Yumtov" took place on April 8. The song that accompanied the transmitter was "Until You Come", written by Barak Feldman and composed by Yoni Bloch. It was sung by Ninet Tayeb, who also performed the theme song for Yumtov 2004 - "Like Everyone" in collaboration with Eli Finish.
