Overview
The story of a retired colonel who lives with his son and daughter-in-law and returns to the past. Mehmet Şahin, who served as a first lieutenant in one of the villages of Doğu Beyazıt in the 1940s, encountered a tragic incident while taking a family walk on the foothills of Mount Ararat. His wife, Muhsine, who was a teacher in the same village, got lost in the foggy and snowy weather. All searches return Muhsine cannot be found. A retired colonel, who has been living with his wife's pain for years, decides to go to Doğu Beyazıt with his bride, who is about to give birth, and his son, who works as a manager in a newspaper. Their destination is Surbahan village, where his son was born and his wife disappeared. The heartbroken colonel, who has never been to Doğu Beyazıt since Muhsine's death, joins the bride's journey with his son, remembering the painful days.
