Hyuk meets Hye-ok again by chance and the two become lovers. Through Samryong, Hyuk learns that Hye-ok is President Oh's daughter, but decides to participate in the crime to raise money for hospital expenses for the sick Cheol. Hye-ok, who believes that Hyuk tried to kill her father, tells the police where she plans to meet Hyuk. Hyuk, seeing the police car, puts his son in the jeep and runs away. The police, who learn that Hyuk is not the murderer through Min-woo's confession, chase Hyuk's car to inform him of this fact. Hye-ok, who learned that her father's life was saved by Hyuk's report, also follows Hyuk's car with her father. However, Hyuk continues to run away and falls off a cliff. The police inform the injured Hyuk of his innocence, but Hyuk thinks the police are lying and persists until the end. Hye-ok asks forgiveness from the dying Hyuk.
