Overview
Sook-jin, the eldest daughter of bank janitor Seong-hak's five siblings, is nicknamed 'regular latecomer' because she is always late to school because she has to take care of the house in place of her dead mother. Seonghak takes in a maid named Ms. Choi, but Ms. Choi acts as a stepmother, mistreats the five siblings, sells off her belongings, and is kicked out. Seonghak remarries Gwacheon-daek, who had been kicked out after running a stall in front of the company building for 10 years and was at a loss for a living. Gwacheon Daek is kind and devoted to Seonghak's family, but she cannot easily get close to her five siblings. Then, when Sook-jin's beloved gold ring belonging to her dead mother disappears, the family thinks it was Gwacheon's doing. Moreover, when it becomes known that Gwacheon-daek has met her ex-husband, Seonghak demands Gwacheon-daek to leave the house. However, when it is revealed that Jin-su lost their dead mother's ring, and when it is revealed that Gwa-cheon-daek tried hard to help Eul-jun, who was unfairly interrogated by the police, the five siblings clear up the misunderstanding and call Gwa-cheon-daek 'mother'.
