Overview
In the family of editor Vojtěch Bartoná, there is a conflict between father and son. Son drops out of college to protest wasteful logging. The father does not agree and even resolves the conflict with a slap. In retrospect, we then meet the father before graduation: at the time of plowing the borders, he wrote an article against the destruction of ties. He was supposed to be expelled from school, but ended up taking it by not getting a college recommendation. Blahynka, a Czech, fought for the young father, who died at the time of the father's conflict with his son. After the professor's funeral, the father reconciles with his son - he somehow recognizes himself in him years ago - and thanks the dead professor for this recognition...
