Overview
Influential businessman Eduard Ivanovich turns to police colonel Egorov with a request to help him, for a large reward, in illegally exporting radioactive waste from England and burying it in Russia. Egorov entrusts this operation to Sergei Samsonov, who was dismissed from the police. Samsonov's friend, journalist Kirillov, has information about this operation and begins his own investigation, which costs him his life. Shocked by the death of a close friend, Samsonov begins to independently understand this matter.
