In her famous Prague salon, actresses, wives of politicians and businessmen had their work done. Adina Mandlová wore dresses from her, for example, in the films Kristián or Catacombs, Jarmila Novotná sang Violetta in "her" costume at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Hana Podolská also dressed the first lady Hana Benešová. "Šiju u Podolská" was still called decades after the fashion salon was nationalized and could not bear her name. He just stayed in the same place. The documentary film was based on the book by dr. Eva Uchalová and takes us through the successful but also many tragic events in the life of a woman who became a co-creator of the fashion style of the First Republic.
