The film tells the story of two siblings who are at war with the tradition represented by their mother. Ms. Müzeyyen lives with her children Suat and Şermin in the mansion inherited from their elders. The family survives on their father's pension and the income from rented rooms in the summer. Suat fell in love with Ayten, the daughter of a manufacturer family. But the rich father does not find Suat worthy of his daughter. He does not approve of their marriage. The two brothers, who were planning to sell the mansion, took this incident as an opportunity and started to blame Müzeyyen Hanım again. However, the old woman lives there with all her past and memories. For him, the decision to sell means betrayal more than anything else.
